Opportunities for Giving
The Annual Fund
The Law School depends upon gifts to the annual fund to maintain and enhance the educational programs offered to our students. Even though we are now a part of The Pennsylvania State University, we still maintain our own budget and do not receive any direct state appropriations. Every dollar raised by Dickinson is used by Dickinson for the benefit of our students. Specifically, the Dickinson Law Annual Fund helps to alleviate rising tuition costs and sustains the areas of greatest need, including special programs and clinics, library operations, technological advancements and facility enhancements.
The number of annual fund donors is just as important as the amount of money raised. Alumni participation in the annual fund is a factor used by many corporations and foundations in awarding major grants. Dickinson's goal is to reach at least a 30 % participation level, and we have yet to meet that goal. No matter how much you give, your support of the Dickinson Law Annual Fund is crucial to preserving the Law School's status as a quality legal institution.
Memorial Endowments
The Law School has a number of funds named in honor of or in memory of faculty and alumni. Those funds include:
