The Blue Band Building
Thanks to the generosity of its devoted fans, Penn State's beloved Blue Band now enjoys a dedicated facility. Completed in 2004, the Blue Band Building includes a 9,000 square-foot practice room, instrument and equipment storage space, locker rooms, and faculty offices. The group's historic memorabilia is showcased throughout.
The new building is a fitting home to Penn State's award-winning marching band, which recently won the prestigious Sudler Trophy, one of the highest recognitions bestowed upon collegiate marching bands.
With a gift of $1,000 you can leave a permanent mark on the new facility by naming a locker in honor of a band member or loved one. Future generations of Blue Band members will see this commitment as one more piece of the community's support. Other commemorative naming opportunities are available for gifts of $25,000 or more.
