Becca Miceli - Overall Chairperson

Becca Miceli - Overall ChairpersonBecca Miceli, the overall chairperson for the 2008 senior class gift, is an Accounting major from Mechanicsburg, PA. Becca is also a member of the Student Philanthropy Council, Lion Ambassadors and works on the "We Are..." Campaign. She joined the senior class gift committee unite her class behind one cause that will help make Penn State better for future generations. When she graduates, she hopes to work for a public accounting firm.

 

Mary Rowe - Gift Development Chairperson

Mary Rowe - Gift Development ChairpersonLast year's THON family relations overall chair, Mary Rowe, is the gift development chair for the 2008 senior class gift committee. An active member of Zeta Tau Alpha, Mary is a Health Policy and Administration major from Bryn Mawr, PA. She is excited to be a part of the senior class gift committee because she thinks it's a unique opportunity for her class to leave a mark on Penn State and make the University better for future classes. When she graduates, Mary hopes to work for a health insurance company or non-profit organization.

Alicia Koval - Communications Chairperson

Alicia KovalThe 2008 communications chairperson, Alicia Koval joined the senior class gift committee because she wanted to honor her amazing experience at Penn State by giving something back to the University. This year, she is also a homecoming corporate relations captain and the Vice President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. A Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering major from Sewickley, PA, Alicia will be working as an engineer on an oil field for a company in Houston after graduation.

Katherine Wheatle- Student Relations Chairperson

Katherine Wheatle, the student relations chairperson for the 2008 senior class gift committee, also serves as the co-chair of the Student Issues Management TEam of CORED and a coordinator for S-Plan, a mentoring program for African American and Latino Students new to University Park. An African and African American Studies major from Paterson, NJ, Kat joined the class gift committee because she wants to see more underrepresented students serving as members of the most traditional and historical organizations at the University and wanted to do her part in leaving a proud legacy for the entire class. After graduation, Kat hopes to enroll in an doctoral program in health public policy with a focus on political science.

 

Stephen Hulick- Student Relations Chairperson

Stephen HulickStephen Hulick has wanted to be a part of the senior class gift committee since his first year at Penn State so that he can encourage his classmates to start the tradition of giving back to the University. A Political Science and history major from Beaufort, SC, Stephen, the marketing chairperson, is a Lion Ambassador and is very active with his fraternity and the Greek community.
