The Senior Class Gift

Becca Miceli
Becca Miceli, 2008 Overall Chairperson.

Meet the 2008 Senior Class Gift Committee.

Penn State graduating seniors have a long tradition of giving to Penn State, beginning with the class of 1861. Penn State landmarks such as the Lion Shrine and the Allen Street Gates are the result of senior class energy and financial support.

By organizing and financing a campus project, Penn State seniors leave behind a bit of their own personality and a sign of their times they may revisit year after year.

Don't forget to support your Senior Class Gift by pledging all or a portion of your general deposit. Thank you for your support as you take part in one of Penn State's oldest and most cherished traditions!

Announcing the Class of 2008 Gift!

Atherton and Curtin Gateway Element
Located near the Nittany Lion Shrine (1940 class gift), the Nittany Lion Inn, and Recreation Hall, the intersection of Atherton Street and Curtin Road serves as a prominent entrance to this highly visible part of campus. The Atherton and Curtin Gateway Element will be designed to complement the style and materials of both the Nittany Lion Inn and Recreation Hall. Serving as a welcoming entrance to that side of campus and the many motorists and pedestrians who use it daily, this gateway will be popular among members of both the University and town communities.
