- CFR creates a bridge for partnerships with the University, while acting as a one-stop resource for corporations and foundations in need of knowledgeable faculty and staff, talented students, high-tech facilities, and opportunities for philanthropic support of activities that make a difference.
- By developing and maintaining comprehensive partnerships with corporations and foundations, we accomplish our primary goal of enhancing resources for Penn State.

Toshiba/Westinghouse $2 Million Gift Aimed at Energy, Environment
Aiming to boost research relating to energy and environmental issues, and encourage talented students to consider careers in these areas, Toshiba Corp. and Westinghouse Electric Co., majority-owned by Toshiba, have committed $2 million to support a variety of Penn State programs. The University will receive the gift in the form of annual contributions of $500,000 over the next four years. >>Read more
Million-dollar U.S. Steel Foundation Gift Creates Trustee Scholarships
United States Steel Foundation has committed $1 million to endow Trustee Scholarships for Penn State undergraduates who have financial need. First preference for the awards will go to students enrolled in various academic majors in business, engineering and information technology. >>Read more
